Attorney Profile
Justin Tash a Founding Partner and CEO of BTL Family Law. While he began his career focused on representing clients through complex divorce and custody disputes, his role has evolved into building and leading a firm engineered to provide clarity, structure, and strategic guidance for families navigating major transitions.
Today, Justin serves as the strategic leader of the firm — developing the systems, culture, and operational framework that allow BTL to provide consistent, high-level representation to its clients.
From Trial Attorney to Firm Builder
Justin built BTL Family Law with a clear philosophy: family law should be thoughtful, structured, and grounded in straightforward advice — not confusion or unnecessary conflict. Families facing divorce or custody issues need clarity, steady guidance, and a practical path forward.
Over time, Justin recognized that providing that level of support required more than strong legal advocacy. It required building a firm intentionally — one where attorneys and staff are supported, prepared, and equipped to serve clients well.
He focused on creating clear internal processes, healthy team communication, and a work environment where professionals can do their best work. By prioritizing culture, sustainability, and operational clarity, Justin built a firm designed to help clients navigate difficult transitions as efficiently and affordably as possible.
Today, his role centers on strengthening the foundation of the firm — ensuring that the team has the structure, support, and leadership necessary to guide families with confidence and care.
That evolution now informs his broader work as a business leader and advisor to other service-based companies.
Leadership & Vision
As a Founder and CEO, Justin’s role is to care for the health and direction of the firm so that the team can care well for its clients.
He believes that serving families well starts internally — by building an environment where attorneys and staff are supported, trained, and empowered to do meaningful work.
When the team has clarity, structure, and shared values, clients experience steadier guidance and more efficient representation.
Rather than allowing the firm to grow reactively, Justin has focused on building it intentionally — creating systems that reduce unnecessary friction, encourage collaboration, and allow attorneys to focus their energy where it matters most: helping families move forward.
This commitment to thoughtful leadership and sustainable growth also led Justin to develop GrowthPilot OS, a framework that helps other service-based business owners build strong organizations without sacrificing culture or personal vision. The same principles he applied in building BTL — clarity, structure, and intentional leadership — now guide his work with other founders.
Justin regularly speaks and writes about leadership, building healthy professional environments, and creating businesses that serve both the people inside them and the clients they support.
Recognized Leadership & Published Author
Justin has been recognized in AzBusiness Leaders for four consecutive years — 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 — reflecting his leadership within Arizona’s business community.
In addition to leading BTL Family Law, Justin co-authored the book Does a Good Divorce Really Exist?, a practical guide designed to help families approach divorce with clarity and intention. The book briefly reached Amazon Best Seller status in its category, highlighting the demand for straightforward, structured guidance during life’s most difficult transitions.
While recognition and rankings are not the focus of his work, they reflect a broader commitment to improving how families experience divorce — and how professional service firms are built to support them.
Commitment to Clients
Although his role has expanded, Justin remains deeply committed to BTL’s mission: helping families move forward.
He continues to guide the firm’s strategic direction and ensure that every client receives representation grounded in preparation, professionalism, and long-term thinking.
At BTL Family Law, Justin’s role is no longer to manage cases — it is to build an organization capable of serving families at the highest level, consistently and sustainably.
